An Evening of Sharing Powerful Project Work, was an exciting celebration of project work!   The session began with a panel of leaders and researchers of the project approach in classrooms in the early childhood years. Panelists included Lilian G. Katz,  Judy Harris Helm, Sylvia Chard, and Yvonne Kogan.  22 projects were on display by the teachers who facilitated them in their classrooms. Projects come from a nearly full range of early childhood programs including projects from preschool age classrooms including public and private preschools, Head Start, full day and half day programs and a variety of child care and school settings including family child care.The panel was followed by viewing sessions in which participants took turns viewing project displays and/or answering questions about their own project displays. The session closed with reflections from the leader researchers and also an open microphone for questions from the audience.
