THE POWER OF DOCUMENTATION:

Children's Learning Revealed

Through August 2007
Kohl Children's Museum
Glenview Illinois

For details, call Chicago Metro AEYC at 312.427.5399

The Exhibit:
Examining children's work can reveal the learning that comes from young children’s active, engaged work and play. Visit this exhibit to see how teachers have collected, analyzed, and interpreted evidence of children’s learning. Explore how documentation helps teachers, informs parents, and demonstrates accountability. Learn about Chicago’s site-based professional learning communities and how they support children’s active, engaged learning.

To see some of the panels and some things you can learn at the exhibit:
What is documentation? Why do we document? How do I get started?

You can bring the Power of Documentation Exhibit to your community. To learn more about bringing the exhibit to your community, please contact Tara Kennon at Chicago Metro AEYC by calling 312.427.5399 or emailing tkennon@chicagometroaeyc.org
